Mount Carmel Worship and Outreach Ctr.

Mount Carmel Worship & Outreach Ctr. launched the Acquisition of Computer Excellence (ACE) program in September 2006.

Since its inception, the ACE program, through its axiom of commitment to learning and excellence has instructed program participants in mastering basic to intermediate functions contained in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs. (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint).

In addition, through completion of curriculum projects, the ACE program has encouraged the development of “creative entrepreneurial skills.”

Our program seeks to prepare students with the necessary computer knowledge and skills to work in an office setting or to develop a small business.

In 2008 the ACE program expansion will include development of the following:

• Small business workshop/seminar program


• Course specific computer development workshops


• Employment career counseling program
